Bookworms wanted
PK suggested we form an online book club, and I quite agree. Let's do it! If you want to play along at home, please tell me your preferences re: book selection and we can go from there. Any takers?

You KNOW I'm in!! What has been awesome lately is that the woman I sit next to in choir is an avid reader and belongs to 2 bookclubs, so I have been getting a lot of reading material. As for preferences, I will read just about anything (but have issues with books about child abuse of any sort, or kidnapped kids, since I've become a parent. Yes, I'm a wuss)
Me too! I'll play! You know what I like for reading. ;)
I'd love to 'play' online book club and will read most anything except Shakespeare. Been there, done that:)

Goody!
I'm in. I'm good with any genre, except bodice-rippers. Are there any bodice-ripper book clubs? That'd be a picture.
I think it would be interesting to try to discuss the literary tools employed when the author. It would be somethign like when the author wrote "she raked her fingers across his furred chest" is a subtle way to bring up the carnal nature of his passion or whe the author said "his manhood throbbed against her, letting her know he was ready" is nice foreshadowning of the sex scene three pages later.

Hey art-sweet, thanks for the heads-up! I checked out naptime books before, but it seems too mom-focused and erudite for me. I appreciate the tip, though!
