Hester hearts solids
We confirmed it over the weekend: Hester is big into her solid foods. Now she eats peas as well as rice cereal. And for real, she tries to spoon-feed herself. The kid's a supergenius!
If she can feed herself at 4 months, maybe she can make me a cup of coffee at 6 months. Sweet!

By the way, I showed my mom these photos and she said, "Ah, yes! The old rice cereal in and around the mouth!" and that it was our first solid too.
Six months is a little early to be making coffee, but I know from personal experience that three years is plenty old enough to accomplish "Push the button on Mommy's coffee maker, Sweetheart."
