And they are both home sick today. Not like I had anything to do anyway, right?
What did Petunia think? I told her it was the BEST ever. Gosh, I love that movie.
Uh-oh, lack of patience with the little ones... that's tough when you're the only big person there all day! Good luck Clementine! ;)
Also I meant to say, this reminds me of your days in grad school caring for the little ones and "YOU be the baby!" Ha ha ha.
Hey PK, she liked it. And what's not to like? Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Angela Lansbury...sweetness.
When the kids were yelling during breakfast, I said to them in a low and slightly spooky voice, "The Person You Need Is Nanny McPhee," and all 3 of them got very quiet. Then I spoiled it by laughing, and they started yelling again. They probably think I'm a little unbalanced.
Ooooh, Clementine, I'm going to try the spooky voice!
I liked the movie. It was an odd double feature day for me with Nanny McPhee and Munich.
Also, I love that you freaked the kids out and they got all quiet.
It was kind of awesome. Too bad I don't have a staff like Nanny McPhee--I'd be banging the hell out of that thing!
Also, "You be the baby." SO crazy! Nowadays we play a fun game called "Giant squid and big white shark," which isn't nearly as tedious as "You be the baby." There's definitely more excitement under the sea.
